The house is envisioned as a tranquil fortress in the center of East Jakarta dense urban area. Located at the end of a residential block and flanked by a hospital, a high rise office tower, and a busy highway, the house provides composure and solitude.

Facing such context, the rooms within the compact plot are vertically stacked. The ground floor is utilized as a service and parking area, while the living area is elevated to the first and the second floor.

Making up for the absence of a communal green area at the ground floor, an outdoor terrace is introduced at the first floor and the rooftop area, overlooking the neighborhood and the city.
